Text Message (SMS) Opt-In

1st CDL Training Center of NOVA sends text messages to enrolled students who choose to opt in. Students opt in during enrollment in one of two ways:

1. Enrollment form checkbox

On the enrollment form, students may check the following box (the box starts unchecked):

'Yes, I would like to receive text messages from 1st CDL Training Center of NOVA about my training schedule, road test appointments, and school announcements at the mobile number I provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of enrollment. 2. Paper consent form

Students enrolling in person may sign a paper consent form with the same disclosures:

'Text message consent (optional): By signing below, I agree to receive text messages from 1st CDL Training Center of NOVA about my training schedule, road test appointments, and school announcements at the mobile number I provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. I can reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of enrollment.
